not long to go

alright! the after effects comp is looking really good. I now need to do some final tweaking, export it and start work syncing up the sound this week. I'm also trying to get the beard pass working to slot in there at some point. I had a bit of luck with maya fur at home however i need to tweak the jiggle deformer (which im having trouble doing) and make a moe as well. Just about finished my showreel over the weekend as well and begining the 2000 word essay, right........NOW!

hey! tried to upload my new running comp with pretty vfx but well, you know holmesglen.. so instead ill just put up a list of everything i need to do.
sounds - need to tweak and sync up to running comp
vfx- finalize and sync up with sounds
broadcast safe- apply broadcast safe settings and get it ready for screening
beard pass- get that beard going!
and if i have time a flapping kilt pass

A test comp with my finished rended image, some maya software clouds and snow and some after effects lightning. I'm 95% done rendering as well.

Animation completion aim was to be done by today, i reackon i need only 3 more hours and ill be very happy with it. This up coming week im finishing off textuing, doing the final lock down of the camera's and finishing my lighting getting ready to render over the holidays. Its far from done but its all coming together nicely. I've been a bit slack in the playblast comp section however i did do a motion blur hardware test on all the scene's and it really adds to the characters movement. Ive just skinned up the boys hands as well just need to get the JTD rigging tools and make some controllers to animate with.
On another note im meeting up with Tess Waters a producer for a sci fi pilot, who wants me on board her project. VERY EXCITING~!
